You could still use USB to shutdown the QNAP server if you are using a Network Management Card and PowerChute Network Shutdown on the PC and MAC OS. I will link the compatibility chart for PowerChute Network Shutdown (PCNS) version 4.3 here: PCNS v4.3 compatibility

The Network Management Card uses PowerChute Network Shutdown (PCNS) to shutdown servers. The Network Management Card in a Smart-UPS 750 or higher unit would be the best way to shutdown more than one device from one UPS.

What model APC UPS units do you have and are you trying to shutdown more than one MAC, PC or QNAP server per UPS? For APC, we would recommend using the MAC OS Native Shutdown if you do not have a Network Management Card installed in the UPS.
